Sharon F. Voelker, 73, passed away February 14, 2006 at her home in Columbus, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 15, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Grandview Heights H.S. in 1951 and from The Ohio State University School of Dental Hygiene in 1954. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority, Vice President of the Grandview Heights Public Library Board of Trustees, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Grandview Heights High School Alumni Association. She was also a member of the Columbus Museum of Arts (and Beaux Arts), Columbus Bar Association Auxiliary, Greater Columbus Tennis Association, Franklin County Republican Central Committee and DAR. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Frances Elliott Frank. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Dirken Voelker; children, Deborah (John) Cacchio of Dublin, OH, Dow (Brenda) Voelker of Grandview Heights, OH, Dorinda (Bill) Easdale of Dublin, OH, Deidre (Jim) Abbruzzese of Dublin, OH; grandchildren, Chad (Stacey) Cacchio, Trevor and Allison Voelker, Jessica, Cailen and Madeline Easdale, Justin (Joanna), Marcus, Makenna and Delaney Abbruzzese; sister, Donna Reed of Pataskala, OH; sisters-in-law, Dawn (Jack) Falleur of Fairborn, OH and Deidre (Harold) Lehrer of Phoenix, AZ; several nieces and nephews.
