Greater Columbus Tennis Association
Supports Both
Jr. Davis and Jr. Wightman Cup Teams
Congratulations to the Columbus area Junior Wightman Cup and Junior Davis Cup
team for their win at the OVTA District Tournament in Dayton, Ohio on June 14th
and 15th, 2008. They were able to win all 3 of their matches over the Dayton,
Cinncinati A, and Cinncinati B teams. The Columbus team was comprised of Maddie
Kobelt, Nisha Krouser, Sheena Koushik Paige Maddara, Maureen Stevens, Phillip
and Chris Diaz, Kevin Metka, Billy Weldon and Kyle Gerber. They were coached by
Dede Craig and Steve Ryuse.
The GCTA extends special thanks to Dede Craig and Steve Ryuse
for captaining the event.
