The GCTA Supports Tennis

The 2004 Jr. Davis and Jr. Wightman Cup matches were held at the Upper Arlington High School courts in Columbus. The event was hosted by the Greater Columbus Tennis Association.

The GCTA extends special thanks to
Janet Craycraft
for coordinating the event.

The tournament was run by Kelly Lewis and Janet Craycraft.
A special thanks to
Arthur Haus for umpiring the entire tournament
and for the volunteer efforts of Anita Elking and Lenore Roose.

Jr. Davis Cup

Runners-up!
Steve Ryuse was the 2004 Captain of the Jr. Davis Cup team. This team was made up of some of the best junior tennis players in the central Ohio area. These young men compete against similar teams from other areas of the Ohio Valley Tennis Association.

Jr. Wightman Cup

Runners-up!
Michelle Jarrett led the Jr. Wightman Cup team this year. Like the Jr. Davis Cup team, this team has some of the best young tennis players in our area. These young women compete against the same areas as the Jr. Davis Cup team.
